"Never forget the roots of your family"
A little serious of our mind:
Try to imagine, that your grandchildren can´t speak with you in your language......
Learn your family the language of the roots, so your family - children can speak their language from childhood!
Learn your family the culture of the roots, so your family understand and respect the roots e.g. Mano Po!

Tuba is a part of our
rich culture. It is just a part of our progressive past that is still to
be discovered. This tells us that even we Cebuanos can produce our own
beverage that we can be proud of.
This indigenous liquor is said to be already existent even before Spanish colonization. This was the official wine of every tribe at that time. |

To the hardy-drinking rural folk, lambanog is "THE" Philippine alcoholic beverage – the arrack of the masa |
![]() |
Lambanog is wine made from coconut. Lambanog is famous for its potency that normally carries about 80 to 90 proof variations. It is mostly produced in the Quezon Province, Philippines. It has been passed down throughout generations of coconut plantation farmers. The process involves collecting the sap from the coconut flower, similar to rubber tree tapping. The sap is then cooked and fermented to become tuba, a popular coconut toddy. The tuba is then distilled to make lambanog. |
